Danielle St-Julien, DVM

Danielle St-Julien, DVM

Veterinarian

Danielle and her family have called High Prairie home for many years. She loves working with Companion Animals and also has extensive experience with birds and pocket pets. Even though she is only part-time, she has been a steady member of our team for over five years. An avid outdoor lover, Danielle and her family enjoy exploring all this lovely land have to offer year-round.
Erik Burrow, DVM

Erik Burrow, DVM

Veterinarian

Erik was raised in St. Albert, Alberta, and graduated from the University of Calgary in 2019. Erik’s focus is working on large animals. His practice interests include feedlot consulting, cow-calf and dairy herd health, as well as equine medicine. Outside of work, Erik and his wife enjoy helping out at the family farm in nearby Tangent. His hobbies include hiking, skiing, and spending time with his dogs, Olive and Otis.
K. Huber, DVM

K. Huber, DVM

Veterinarian

Born in High Prairie and a long term resident of Sunset House, Dr. Huber and her family are proud to call Peace County home. Growing up with cattle and critters of all sizes, her passion for Veterinary medicine began at an early age. In the first 12 years of her career she worked as a mixed animal practicioner, but has had to step back into an advisory only role in large animal due to back issues. While limited to small animal appointments at this time, Dr. Huber is not one to shy away from helping out producers whenever she can and is always available for consultation on Bovine, Equine and other production animal cases.

Bianca Mullenders

Bianca Mullenders

Clinic Manager

Bianca never expected to put down permanent roots in High Prairie but fell in love with the people and the area. She has been at the clinic since 2017 and enjoys all the interactions with the clients and animals alike. When not at work she can be found at home chilling with her family and furbabies. She enjoys day-tripping with her family and going on little adventures.
Candace Olive

Candace Olive

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

Candace joined the High Prairie team in 2020 after graduating from the Olds College AHT program. Originally from the Calgary area, she is no stranger to small-town living and has enjoyed getting to know the community, town, and area. Her interests outside of work include fishing, camping, hiking, reading, and visits with her family and pets.
Jen Burns

Jen Burns

Technician Assistant (TA)

Jen joined the team in Sept 2021. With 20 years of being in the animal care field, she is excited to be part of an amazing team and growing her skills at a mixed animal practice. When not at work, Jen can be found cuddling her dogs and cats, taking care of her family, and caring for the local strays in her neighborhood. Jen is happy to have put down roots in High Prairie and looks forward to meeting all the furry members of your family

Clinic Cat

Tsunami is the clinic’s resident team leader. She was left as a kitten at the clinic’s doors in 2006 and had been running the clinic ever since. Between scheduled naps and meals, she keeps the staff on their toes and helps student techs and vets with their training. Tsunami enjoys cuddles (when requested), lounging around in her bungalow, and having her food dish full.
